How do libraries stay lively and nimble in times of constant change? Transitioning the library into a learning organization can help your team to thrive in this environment. A learning organization is…”characterized by a flat structure and customer-focused teams ... acquiring knowledge and innovating quickly to survive and thrive in a rapidly changing environment."
Breakout session topics include:
Who should attend? Library directors, staff, trustees and volunteers! Everyone is involved in making a learning organization. Join the exploration of the concept of Libraries = Learning Organizations and learn how you might use various tools to enhance your library action team!
A grant funded by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services under a provision of the Library Services and Technology Act has enabled ICFL to provide a microphone headset for each public library in Idaho participating in a Wimba training session. When registering please indicate if your library has not yet received a microphone headset.
